Will there be changes to the Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design?
There will be no changes to the specification content or assessment of this qualification. This will therefore have no impact on teaching, learning or expectations for students. You can be confident that there is no action to be taken from the centre.
The only change that will be evident to centres and learners is that the qualification certificates issued to learners will carry the Ofqual logo and Qualification Number (QN) for a period of time. The change will be applied with immediate effect.
For the Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design, all student registrations made until December 2019 will result in an Ofqual-regulated candidate certificate.
Students that take any other BTEC International Level 2 subjects, other than the ones listed above, will continue to receive their results for these on the existing non-Ofqual certificate.
