Skills for Logistics closure
As you may have heard on 6 January, the Board of Skills for Logistics has taken the decision to close the business and is considering placing the company into administration in order to facilitate this.
We wanted to reassure you that this closure will have no impact on you or your learners who are undertaking apprenticeships.
You may have received a notification which went out to all Skills for Logistics training providers so you are aware of the issue and that the Federation for Industry Sector Skills and Standards (FISSS) has taken responsibility of certification in the short term. By the end of the month FISSS expects to be able to pass both certification and Issuing Authority responsibilities to a permanent home.
Training providers should notice no disruption to their service on ACE/ACW/MAO and should continue as they have before. The ACE/ACW/MAO systems are down from Friday 9 January to Sunday 11 January as they are managing an IT migration.
