The Paediatric Emergency First Aid unit in the Level 3 Diploma in Maternity and Paediatric Support (501/1766/X) has expired and will not be replaced.
This optional unit (Paediatric Emergency First Aid - unit F/600/2036) expired on 31 August 2014. Pearson will be launching the new qualification in Paediatric First Aid in October 2014.
Please note that in order to be qualified as a paediatric first aider, learners will need to complete the following two units:
- H/506/0792 Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- D/506/0791 Managing Paediatric Illness, Injuries and Emergencies
