History of Art podcasts
These podcasts offer help for teachers in the planning, delivery and assessment of modules for the new History of Art A level.
Each 30 minute session gives advice on selecting works, both in terms of their breadth and what needs to be learned by the students. There is also a commentary on assessed work and ideas for further questions which conform with the examples set out in the Pearson sample assessment material and sample works already uploaded. These further suggestions have not been checked by the examining team and are offered as teacher guidance by a practising teacher.
There are modules for each of the three Themes (for Paper 1) and for the European Modernism option for the Period Paper (for Paper 2). Teachers of other periods should still find this useful as the methodolgy and approach is similar across all module choices.
