About the role
This apprenticeship standard is designed typically as a 24 month programme and is for apprentices who wish to gain the skills, knowledge and behavioural competences required to work in an Infrastructure Asset Management role..
Taking this apprenticeship will enable professionals to move into senior roles such as Asset Management Consultant, Head of Asset Planning and Director of Asset Management.
Those working in the asset management field take responsibility for managing physical assets in manufacturing, transport, energy and utilities. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and legislation.
