Update on Ofqual feedback on our draft 2024 GCSE French specification
On 25 January, we were excited to receive feedback from Ofqual on our draft 2024 Pearson Edexcel GCSE French specification.
Although there’s a bit more work to do, the feedback has given us confidence that the content and assessments that you’ve seen in our draft materials are representative of the specification which will be taught from 2024. We’ll continue to work closely with Ofqual to make sure we fulfil all the requirements necessary to gain accreditation for our qualification. We’re looking forward to updating you on our progress.
We’d love to see you at one of our upcoming launch events, so you can find out more about the key features of our four papers and how we created compassionate and inclusive assessments that allow all students to showcase their language skills.
We’ll also be able to share information on how we’ll support you to prepare for and deliver the new qualification, as well as answering all of your questions.
We hope to see you soon!
