New apprenticeships Chef de Partie

A Chef de partie usually manages a small team of kitchen staff in a specific section of the kitchen. Also known as a station or section chef they report into a senior or head chef and is responsible for ensuring that dishes in their section are prepared and sent out in a timely manner and that their area remains clean and well organised. In a smaller kitchen, they may be the only person in their section and are responsible for all activities and dishes in their section.

Mandatory requirements

In order to meet the apprenticeship standard apprentices will be required to achieve a:

  • Minimum Level 2 English
  • Minimum Level 2 Maths
