The Grammar for Writing pedagogy - improving reading and writing skills at GCSE

This interactive, face-to-face course, run by Professor Debra Myhill* and her team, is designed to provide you with practical tips on embedding the Grammar for Writing approach in the classroom to accelerate reading and writing progress. It will support your teaching of the Edexcel GCSE (9-1) English Language 2015 specification.

Let’s Think in English: developing responses to unseen texts

Laurie Smith and Michael Walsh from King's College London run this face-to-face training course, sharing best practice for delivering the Let’s Think in English pedagogy in the classroom. It includes lesson simulation, discussion of the role of the teacher and evidence of how Let's Think in English raises attainment in the classroom.
