Getting Ready to Teach Events 

From October, our Getting Ready to Teach events will be kicking off in person and online for teachers who’ll be delivering the Pearson Edexcel GCSE (2024) in French, German or Spanish from September 2024. Additional dates for 2024 will be added before the end of the year.  

Who should attend?

This training is for those who have already decided to offer the Pearson Edexcel specification from 2024. These events will help you by:  

• developing your understanding of the specification content and requirements (e.g. thematic contexts, vocabulary and grammar)  
• exploring the structure of question papers and mark criteria for all four papers 
• learning about the support available 
• having the opportunity to discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.
