October 2014 update
This month's update features qualifications reinstated for 19+ funding, qualification extensions and qualification withdrawals.
Qualifications secure 19+ funding
On 1 October, the Skills Funding Agency released their updated list of qualifications approved for public funding for 2014 to 2015. We are pleased that our appeal to reinstate 19+ funding for the Pearson Edexcel Level 1 Award in Warehousing and Storage (QCF) (600/2089/1) was successful, so it will continue to receive 19+ funding. In addition to this, the Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Certificate in International Trade and Logistics Operations (QCF) (600/2714/9) has also been reinstated for 19+ funding.
These join the previously reinstated qualifications:
- Pearson EDI Level 1 Award in Warehousing and Storage (QCF) (501/0995/9)
- Pearson Edexcel Level 1 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage (QCF) (600/1946/3)
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage Principles (QCF) (500/7707/7).

Qualification withdrawals
We will be withdrawing a number of our Edexcel qualifications that fall within the Ofqual criteria for low-use or unused qualifications. The qualifications will be withdrawn at their current review date:
