Free transport and logistics webinar: 15 June 2015
On Monday 15 June we will be hosting a free-to-attend webinar. It will provide you with an update on all developments as well as 19+ funding for qualifications in the sector. You'll also get a chance to learn more about Apprenticeship Trailblazer developments and how these will affect you in the future.
The webinar will take place on Monday 15 June, from 10.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
New developments
We're looking for customer feedback on some possible new developments. If you'd like to find out more about these developments and participate in the survey, please follow the relevant link below.
Driving Instruction – This development is aimed at driving instructors in a range of occupations such as LGV, bus and coach, disabled and blue light.
BTEC Logistics and Supply Chain – This development is for a Level 2 and a Level 3 knowledge-based qualification for 14- to 18-year-olds who are in school or college. The development is to serve as an introduction to the logistics and supply chain sector where learners can progress either to further education or employment.
NVQ extensions
The following qualifications have been extended to 30 June 2017:
- Pearson Edexcel Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Passenger Carrying Vehicle Driving Instruction (QCF) - 600/0327/3
- Pearson Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving (Community Transport) (QCF) - 600/0079/X.
Withdrawal of Operational Support in the Bus and Coach Industry
The following qualification will be withdrawn on 30 September 2015. If you have any learners to register on this qualification, please ensure you do this before the withdrawal date:
- Pearson Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Operational Support in the Bus and Coach Industry (QCF) - 600/0078/8.
