Extension to the SIA Licence linked qualifications. Please note the extension to the last certification date.
The SIA Licence linked qualifications listed below have a review date of 31 March 2020. We are pleased to confirm that these qualifications are currently being extended to 31 March 2021 in response to the request from the SIA.
This applies to:
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Working as a CCTV Operator within the Private Security Industry
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Working as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Working as a Vehicle Immobiliser within the Private Security Industry
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Upskilling a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training within the Private Security Industry
Please note that the Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry will be extended until 31 December 2020. It will be replaced with a new version in January 2021.
