This month's Health update focuses on qualification withdrawals.
Health Qualification withdrawals
The following qualifications are being withdrawn for registrations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland from 31 December 2017:

| Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Working with Medication | (600/0304/2) |
| Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Working in the Health Sector | (500/6510/5) |
Health SASE Framework Withdrawals
The following SASE frameworks have a last registration date set for 30 September 2017:

| Advanced Apprenticeship in Health (Maternity and Paediatric) |

We will therefore be withdrawing the following qualifications in England from 31 December 2017:

| Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support | (501/1779/8) |

| Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Perioperative Support | (501/2216/2) |
There will be new qualifications to replace them and the new qualification will be used for the new apprenticeship standards. The new qualifications are:

The current qualifications can still be used in Wales and Northern Ireland beyond December 2017.
