Healthcare Support Worker End Point Assessment
A reminder that the following Covid-19 temporary discretion will be switched off on 30 June 2022.
The observation assessment may be replaced with a reflective statement written by the apprentice and validated by an expert witness. This will be followed by a question and answer session of up to 30 minutes with an independent assessor
Withdrawals
We have previously communicated to you our intention to withdraw the following qualifications during the coming months
603/2764/9 Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England) - May 2022
603/3496/4 Pearson BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care (England) - June 2022
To allow our centers to prepare and to plan for the delivery of the replacement Adult Care qualifications at Level 3 and Level 5 we have taken the decision to retire the existing qualifications on the 31 December 2022, not May/June 2022 as previously communicated
Please continue to register your learners to the current qualifications. The replacement versions of these qualifications will now be first taught from January 2023
We will further communicate with you when the specifications are available on the website.
