After careful monitoring and analysis of the following qualification, in line with Ofqual conditions of management and withdrawing of qualifications, we are withdrawing the following qualification providing timely notification.

Care Certificate Consultation 2021
Care Certificate standards have been reviewed in line with new legislation and changes to Resuscitation guidelines. The consultation is open for you to review and feedback on the amended standards. For more details:

Counselling Qualifications
Guidance from the BACP for online teaching delivery and remote supervised placements from September 2021.
Changes to requirements
BACP requirements for membership and core training will allow the option of some online teaching delivery and remote supervised placements. BACP will accept a mix of:
face-to-face and synchronous (live) online taught sessions, with a maximum of 30% of total tutor contact time delivered online
face-to-face and remote supervised placement hours, provided the majority are carried out face-to-face
Students or practitioners who want to apply for BACP membership will be asked how their training and placements were delivered. For full up to date information, see BACP Guidence for online teaching.
The following counselling qualifications will be withdrawn on these dates.
The Pearson BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling will be replaced with a BTEC Higher National in Counselling & Applied Psychology, this will be available from September 2022.
