Replacement qualifications

From January 2018 replacement qualifications are live.

501/1699/X Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social care (Adults) for England has been replace by the following qualification:

Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Care (England) 603/2762/5, the specification containing all mandatory units can be found here all optional units can be found under the course materials tab. This is available for apprenticeship delivery

501/1607/1 Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social care (Adults) for England has been replace by the following qualification:

Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England) 603/2764/9, the specification containing all mandatory units can be found here all optional units can be found under the course materials tab. This is available for apprenticeship delivery.

601/6113/9 Pearson BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England) has been replaced by the following qualification:

Pearson BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England) 603/2780/7, the specification containing all mandatory units can be found here all optional units can be found under the course materials tab. This is not currently available for delivery with the Lead Practitioner in Adult Care standard as approval for delivery is still required. It can be used as standalone non apprenticeship delivery only.

SASE Update

Due to the extension of the Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Care Leadership and Management framework the current qualification is live for delivery until August 2018
