We are pleased to announce that our NVQ Level 3 in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities and BTEC Nationals in Applied Science have been recognised by the Science Council to meet the requirements of the Science Council’s Registered Scientist Technician (RSciTech) professional award.

Pharmacy
The revised Welsh Pharmacy Services Apprenticeship Framework is now published, and it includes Pearson qualifications for both Level 2 and Level 3.
If you are already offering our Level 3 qualification BTEC Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians (L3) I would like to inform you that we have organised a webinar; Preparing for Unit 8: Assemble and Check Dispensed Medicines and Products on 4 October 2021, 16:30.
This webinar including Q&A session has been organised to support the delivery and assessment of Unit 8 as there has been a lot of questions on the recently-released additional guidance (PDF, 182 KB).

Consultation on the draft outline content for the T Level occupational specialism of Pharmacy services
The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (the IFATE) has released the consultation for the amended T-level content for Pharmacy Services and released the accelerated apprenticeship content also for Pharmacy services.

IFATE would welcome views from providers, employers, and industry bodies on draft outline content for the Healthcare Science T-Level occupational specialism of Pharmacy services.
Please respond to this consultation and consider the impact of this on your provision. The closing date is 11 October 2021
