Withdrawal of BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Machining (foundation knowledge)
Following the changes to the Machining apprenticeship standard earlier this year, the following qualification will be closed to new registrations from 31 January 2024:

Certification end date is set as 31 January, 2026.
The new apprenticeship standard now mandates only the updated AME 3 Machining qualification (with no separate level 2 component required on programme):
