Early Years Lead Practitioner (EYLP) EPA

We are now on the register for Early Years Lead Practitioner (EYLP) EPA.

The EYLP standard enables employers to support and develop their staff as they progress through the sector. As an Early Years Lead Practitioner in a day nursery, playgroup, nursery school, pre-school, the learner will work as a proactive and influential practitioner, working directly with children, skilfully leading day to day practice at an operational level. 

The EPA has three assessment methods:

• Assessment method 1: Observation with questioning
• Assessment method 2: Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence
• Assessment method 3: Case study with report and presentation and questioning
