This online event is designed to provide focused, subject knowledge support for the 'beliefs/beliefs and teaching' sections, featured in the 'Judaism' area of study, for Pearson Edexcel's GCSE in Religious Studies (specifications A and B). We’re thrilled to be presenting this event in proud collaboration with our colleagues at The Jewish Museum; an exciting partnership that brings rich cultural insight and shared passion to the experience.
The event will offer clarification on specification content, provide opportunities to discuss the planning of engaging lessons, using a variety of resources and activities, and the opportunity for 'Q&A' with a subject specialist.

Insight into the teaching of Jewish beliefs
On 17 June, we ran an online training session to support teachers who are delivering GCSE Religious Studies A and B specifications. Thank you to everyone that attended and gave contributions.

Every month, we release an edition of 'Topic of the Month' with the aim of supporting cultural capital and stimulating discussion within the classroom.
This resource ties a current news event to our qualification content and enables students to see the bigger picture of what they are learning and how it relates to the world around them. Each edition includes a link to an article alongside some key discussion questions to encourage thought around the subject.
This month’s topic relates to the establishment of Chelmsford's first permanent Hindu temple, highlighting its significance for the local Hindu community.
