Registrations and entries

Learners starting on the BTEC Tech Award in Music Practice this academic year must be registered on the course by 1 November 2023. The registration code is RMP3. There are detailed instructions on making registrations online.

For internally assessed components, there are two assessment windows each academic year. The first runs from the release of the brief in September to the submission deadline of 15 December and the second runs from the release of the brief in January until the submission deadline on 1 May.

You can choose which assessment window to use for your learners for each component. You should ensure that learners are fully prepared before taking an assessment.

The registration deadline for the 15 December submission is 17 October. After this date late fees will apply. The deadline for entry in to the series submitted by 1 May is 21 February 2024.

Training

We are running several events this term to support you in the delivery of the internal and external components. All training events with places still available can be found on the website, but please do check regularly as events are being added throughout the year.
