A level History online coursework submission Summer 2025
This update contains a summary of how to submit A level History coursework marks and samples in Summer 2025. It includes guidance on how to submit your marks and samples online, a reminder of the deadlines, the materials you need to submit, and lots of other useful advice and links.
We also have pre-recorded videos and guidance to support you with the marking and delivery of Edexcel A level History coursework.

Updated GCSE History student command words and revision tips
We recently updated our student-friendly GCSE History command words and revision tips to reflect any changes to assessment for Summer 2025.
Coming soon: GCSE History 2026 updated topic booklets
We are still working on updating the classroom topic booklets for GCSE History to reflect any changes to content for 2026 assessment. We are also taking the opportunity to update any useful resources and hyperlinks which were outdated. The new versions will be made available on our qualification page in March.
Teaching Indigenous Histories and Perspectives in Schools teacher conference
This teacher conference at the University of Sheffield on 28 June 2025 is organised in partnership with the Schools History Project, Incomindios UK and the Centre for Indigenous and Settler Colonial Studies.
The day conference will support teachers in developing their skills, resources and confidence in teaching Indigenous American histories and perspectives in UK classrooms.
