Administrative Support Guides
We have Administrative Support Guides available for our externally assessed units on the BTEC Nationals and Tech Award, and ASGs for the internally assessed components on the Tech Award.
These guides provide all the information you need on what needs uploading for assessment/moderation, how to label files, and how to access the Learner Work Transfer (LWT) platform via Edexcel Online.

BTEC Tech Award - Earlier release of Pearson set assignments
PSAs will now be available three months earlier.
New PSA Release Dates
- 2 June 2025 – PSA for the December/January 25/26 assessment series
- 1 September 2025 - PSA for the May/June 2026 assessment series.
The deadlines for submission of learner work will remain unchanged each series, and the updated release schedule will not affect learners who are currently completing a PSA this May/June 2025 series, working to a 15 May submission deadline.

Nationals in Performing Arts examiner vacancies
We are currently recruiting Examiners for the BTEC Nationals (Level 3) qualification. This is a part time role which will be completed at home, and in your own time.
We are looking for examiners for the following units:
Unit 1: Investigating Practitioners' Work
Unit 3: Group Performance Workshop
Unit 5: Individual Performance Commission
Unit 7: Employment Opportunities in the Performing Arts



Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company
The company are touring a couple of their seminal productions this term.
‘NOW’ celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Jasmin Vardimon Company.
The latest creation by award-winning choreographer Jasmin Vardimon MBE revisits favourite moments from the company’s repertoire, while reflecting the current moment, the present and the continuous movement of time. Renowned for her uniquely theatrical choreography, an interest in contemporary lives, and the ever-changing socio-political dynamics, Jasmin uses her distinctive creative approach to celebrate imagination in a griping new production.

ALiCE is back on tour! A re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland, ALiCE tells the story of a woman, or perhaps a child, unsure of her identity and where she is going. Escaping or exploring, discovering the powers within her changing body. The world around her is different, curious, and compelling – at times absolutely bonkers!

This free resource aims to provide both students and teachers with a deeper insight into the work and build bridges between classroom learning and the artistic and creative processes within the studio.


Zoonation CPD
Our friends at ZooNation are excited to announce two new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events designed to empower and inspire dance and performing arts educators. Both events spotlight the ZooNation classic Some Like It Hip Hop, celebrated for its signature storytelling, dynamic Hip-Hop styles and original music.
Session 1: Some Like It Hip Hop Twilight Online CPD event
Support the academic studies of the production exploring the themes, creative approaches, and roles & responsibilities.

Session 2: Some Like It Hip Hop Practical CPD event

Teacher CPD in Peckham, London
As part of their 25th anniversary activity, Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation (CSSF) is a hosting a one-of-a-kind CPD event bringing together teachers and leading theatre practitioners; Playful Spaces (Saturday 12 July in Peckham) will explore how creativity can re-energise teaching practice and reintroduce joy to the classroom.
CSSF are looking for collaborators and offering sponsorship packages with the opportunity to receive tickets to attend Playful Spaces and other 25th anniversary activities.
