Latest updates on Level 3 qualification funding in England
On 12 December 2024, the DfE published the outcomes of the Review of Qualifications Reform at Level 3 in England. This confirms which qualifications will be funded for 16–19 learners in England for the academic years 2025/26 and 2026/27.

It has been confirmed that BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Construction & the Built Environment suite of qualification will be defunded from August 2025.
The newly developed BTEC Nationals (AAQ) in Construction for first teaching in September 2025 will be funded.

Are you in Wales or Northern Ireland?
The post-16 Level 3 vocational qualification reforms affect England only and do not affect Wales and Northern Ireland.
A version of the Pearson set assignments(PSAs) for the internally assessed units have been published to exemplify what to expect in these assignments. In total there will be 6 versions when they go live.

BTEC Tech Award in Construction - January 2025 series results
If you submitted your sample and marks by 15 December 2024, you should receive the draft moderation report by 17 January 2025.
Based on the feedback in the draft report, you are able to make adjustments to the marks initially submitted if you choose by 24 January 2025.
The final results for the January series of internally assessed components for the BTEC Tech Award in Construction will be released to centres on 19 March 2025 with results being released to learners on 20 March 2025.
