BTEC Bitesize - Overall qualification grade
External assessment overview - Component 3
Starting from the January series, you will upload learner work for BTEC set tasks using our Learner Work Transfer (LWT) portal. This will offer increased data protection and security for your learners’ work.
We will be in touch with all customers who will need to use learner work transfer to ensure you have access to the system and receive support from us to upload your learner work successfully.
To prepare for the transition to LWT, all colleagues in your school or college who are involved in the upload of learner work should have an Edexcel Online account.
We have published our draft specification for Construction AAQ. This draft qualification has not yet been accredited by Ofqual. It is published to enable teachers to have early sight of our proposed approach to the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Construction and the Built Environment (AAQ). Further changes may be required and no assurance can be given at this time that the proposed qualification will be made available in its current form, or that it will be accredited in time for first teaching in September 2025 and first award in 2027.
Holistic teaching and learning resources
Project based resources to help with the coverage of the T level DSP specification content for both Core and Occupational specialisms. By going through these projects, you will be able to cover different aspects of the specification, helping learners develop their knowledge, understanding and skills.
Graded exemplification materials
These materials are from past series and will support teachers in understanding the level of response required at different grades. Materials available are from 2022 and 2023 assessments (post covid).
