A level (2015) Economics B
The GCE A level (2015) Economics B specification has now been accredited.
The successor to the GCE (2008) Economics and Business qualification, the A level Economics B specification has origins dating back to the early 1990s and the Nuffield Project, which launched the A level in Economics and Business in 1994. One of the Project's original founders, Nancy Wall, played a big part in the development of the 2015 specification.
The A level Economics B specification is distinct because students are introduced to economic concepts through real-world business contexts.
In Year 12, the course aims to help students start to make sense of the world and the content of the first year can be assessed in 2 AS papers.
