Summer 2016 Biology exams

Mon Jan 04 00:15:00 UTC 2016

The summer 2016 exam series for Biology students will stretch over May and June, a time when sporting distractions can divert attention away from revision. It may be wise to bear these in mind when planning revision sessions, or when helping students plan their revision timetables.

Revision

Revision for the Biology units may be disrupted slightly by the England v Russia game, but there is a nice gap before the next England game.

Those sitting Unit 4 on 16 June will want a prompt start as England v Wales kicks off at 3 p.m. Revision for Unit 5 should not cause too much disruption either, as the England v Slovakia game is on 20 June, kick off 9 p.m.

Revision may also be affected with the Sri Lanka 2016 tour of England.

It is possibly fortunate that the knockout phase of the Euro 2016 finals starts after the last exam.

Finally, the Wimbledon fortnight does not start until Monday 27 June.
