New Apprenticeship standards - steps to take

Here in a few easy steps is the process centres should be following:

Step 1

The centre signs a contract with the employer that includes:

  • the standards
  • number of apprentices for each standard
  • start date of learning for the apprentices

Step 2

The employer decides which End-Point Assessment (EPA) organisation they want to use. This decision would be in consultation with you as their provider.

Step 3

You should enter into an agreement with your EPA organisation before you or the employer registers the apprentices on the Individualised Learner Record (ILR). If Pearson is your chosen EPA organisation, this would be through the Letter of Intent.

Why not join one of our upcoming webinars where you can learn more about implementing the new standards and ask our team of experts a question?

Letter of Intent for EPA booking – Friday 24 November: 10– 11am

Partnerships for EPA delivery – Friday 8 December: 10-11am

You can also contact your account manager at any time to discuss end-point assessment or any other question you might have about the new apprenticeship standards.
