Jamie Oliver's Home Cooking Skills competition now open
September 2018 update: Although our partnership with the Jamie Oliver Foundation has ended, we are pleased to announce that our Home Cooking Skills qualification has been extended until August 2020. There have been no changes to the qualification and its content, and you will find that our website page has been updated to reflect this change, with all new resources and support material.
This year we have another exciting opportunity for students to win a meal for 4 people at their closest Jamie's Italian restaurant with £40 per person to spend, a personalised signed book and a Tefal bundle of cooking equipment, with the school/college receiving £100 worth of books from us.
Runners-up will also receive a three piece essential cooking equipment pack, with the school/college receiving £50 worth of books from us.
Who can enter?
You're invited to enter the competition if you're a student:
- aged 14-19 years, and
- at a school or college in the UK.
You don't need to be registered on to the Level 1 or 2 Pearson BTEC Award in Home Cooking Skills to take part in the competition, but if you are, the competition entry can be mapped to contribute to your qualification.
If you are under 18, you will need consent from your parent or carer to enter.
