Clarification regarding BTEC Vocational Studies Diploma in Post 16
You may be aware that qualification 60185880 Pearson BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Vocational Studies was previously showing an incorrect end date of December 2024 for post 16 learners.
We have worked with the DfE to resolve this issue, and we are pleased to announce that the issue is now rectified, with the qualification database now showing the correct funding end date for post 16 learners of 31 July 2026.
Please note that the 31 July 2026 date is now in line with all other funding dates as the DfE only fund in cycles. This means this qualification funding is guaranteed until 31 July 2026 but is likely to be extended past that date.
We apologise for the inconvenience and any confusion which has arisen as a result of the incorrect information being shown on the 'Find a Learning Aim' section, and the list of qualifications approved for funding website.
You can check the status of the funding on these qualifications below for clarification.
