This pre-recorded training event is intended for post-16 centres who are delivering GCSE Mathematics resit courses to new learners joining them from other centres. It will enable you to use learners’ past performance data to inform teaching and learning for both the individual learner and the class group.

Delegates will:

Chapter 1: Administration: Gathering, retrieving and viewing learner data

  • understand the learner input data requirements of ResultsPlus and the implications for your centre’s enrolment/registration processes and procedures
  • learn how to retrieve your incoming learners’ performance data, set up groups and run reports

Chapter 2: Teaching and learning: Using the data effectively to support planning, delivery and monitoring

  • look at analysing learner data at both individual level and group level
  • explore the use of data to plan for and optimise learning
  • look at ways to use data for target setting and to support individualised learning
  • explore the use of ResultsPlus to monitor progress and prioritise learning after intervention
