New Pearson Edexcel History Teacher Facebook Group

We’ve recently set up a new official Pearson Edexcel History Facebook group for teachers of our GCSE, A level and International History qualifications. This private group is for Edexcel teachers to share ideas and resources and to get support from colleagues as well as the Pearson History team.

The Curriculum and Assessment Review: key insights and next steps for History teachers

In early November 2025, the independent Curriculum and Assessment Review (CAR) Final Report and the government’s response were released. This update, for Secondary History teachers, highlights the key points from the CAR report and the government’s response helping you stay informed and prepared for what’s ahead.  


Edexcel A level History Paper 1 and 2 teacher survey

We’re interested to hear from A level History teachers who have experience of the UK A Level specifications with Edexcel or other exam boards that were introduced in 2015. We’d be grateful if you could complete this short survey to tell us what you think about the Paper 1 and Paper 2 topics/routes. Your answers will help inform our thinking about the options we offer in a future Edexcel A Level History qualification.

Coming soon: Knowledge Booster tests for USA, 1954–75: conflict at home and abroad

We are working on a brand-new set of knowledge booster tests for Paper 3, USA 1954-75 and hope to make these available before the end of term via the qualification page.
