Functional Skills onscreen on-demand qualifications

No. If you are running Functional Skills onscreen on-demand tests then you do not need to complete the Functional Skills paper-based test notification form as we will receive your test dates and timings when you complete your test bookings on our systems.

The reason for the call would be to obtain the test venue and confirm the date and time of the test.

Unfortunately not at the moment as at the time of booking the test our systems only ask for date and time of the test.

On the day of the test, you may be contacted by one of our appointed test inspectors.

Functional Skills paper-based qualifications

You would have to submit your Functional Skills paper-based test dates and times according to the deadlines mentioned in the Pearson Edexcel Functional Skills timetables document by completing the Functional Skills paper-based test notification form.

You should complete one form for each paper-based test and indicate on the form the estimated numbers of students starting the test at each start time. If you are arranging more than 10 tests in the test window then you can email the test details to us on the spreadsheet available on the Functional Skills paper-based test notification form.

You will be contacted by us so we can confirm that you understand the requirements of the test inspections process. It is a requirement for you to complete the Functional Skills paper-based test notification form.
