A levels Economics A (2015)
Summer 2022 support
The Department for Education have confirmed that exams will go ahead in 2022, but with a few changes, such as optionality or advance information.
For AS and A level Economics A the following arrangements have been confirmed for summer 2022:
To make exams in 2022 less daunting, students will be told in advance some information about the exam content, helping them to manage their exam preparation. The Department for Education has now confirmed that advance information can be released.
You can now access your advance information for May/June 2022.
The advance information should be read alongside the JCQ teacher guidance and the advance information guidance which was published on 9 December.
Download the full advance information. You can also download our advance information revision support tailored to A level Economics A that includes free teacher access to Pearson’s Revise ActiveBooks* for use in class, available until 28 June 2022.
Following further quality checks after the release of the advance information on 7 February we have updated both the AS and A level Economics A advance information documents. In the original advance information documents, quantitative skills had been omitted. We have updated both advance information documents to include quantitative skills. This update has been added to pages 4 and 5 for AS Economics A, and to pages 5, 7 and 9 for A level Economics A. The new version of each document is named as 'Version 3'. Please check that you have downloaded the latest versions.
We will be supporting you and your students every step of the way with the 2022 summer arrangements.
