This qualification is for learners who want to start a career in the hospitality industry specialising in patisserie and confectionery. It is designed for post-16 learners and can be taken as part of a wider study programme. It is an ideal qualification for learners intending to progress to direct employment in patisserie and confectionery as a junior or assistant pastry chef or to a hospitality apprenticeship such as Commis Chef to broaden their skill set and knowledge base.
