BTEC Level 3 Technical Levels in Hospitality
BTEC Level 3 Technical Level qualifications are advanced qualifications for post-16 learners choosing to specialise in a specific area within the hospitality sector.
They have been developed in consultation with employers and offer learners the opportunity to:
- acquire the sector-specific knowledge and the technical and practical skills they will need to progress in the hospitality industry
- demonstrate their knowledge and skills through practical activities and assessments
- develop essential transferable workplace skills such as good communication and working as part of a team which employers and universities value highly.

An ideal course for learners wishing to progress to roles such as head waiter and restaurant/bar supervisor or progress to higher education.

Designed for learners looking to become a pastry chef, a baker or confectioner or go on to higher education.
Professional cookery for professional chefs: Kitchen and larder
This qualification would suit learners aspiring to become a chef de partie, line chef or specialist chef de partie such as a bouchier or poissonnier or those wishing to progress to higher education.
Professional cookery for professional chefs: Chef de partie
This course is designed for learners looking to progress to roles such as chef de partie, specialist chef de partie, sous chef or assistant catering manager or go on to higher education.
