Employee Rights and Responsibilities

It is strongly recommended by the Higher Apprenticeship Engineering Environmental Technologies steering group that, although Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) no longer forms part of the formal certification requirements of a higher apprenticeship, apprentices between the ages of 18 to 24 who have not been previously employed should undertake ERR.

ERR outcomes can be delivered through a Semta or Construction skills workbook

or

Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Award in WorkSkills for Effective Learning and Employment (QCF)

or

Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Award in WorkSkills for Effective Learning and Employment (QCF)

or

Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment (QCF) 

Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)

Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) are not mandatory requirements for Higher Apprenticeships in Engineering Environmental Technologies.
