Business Skills sample onscreen assessment materials – sample tests answers now available

Sample tests answers are now available to download for the Business Skills sample onscreen assessment materials.

You can access the sample test player and assessment materials on our BTEC onscreen testing page under 'New Business Skills sample assessment material for first teaching in 2014'.

The sample assessment materials are available via a sample test player, which replicates the look and feel of the Pearson Onscreen Platform (POP).

Using the sample test player, centres and learners can access a:

Functionality Sample Test, which demonstrates item type functionality. Its purpose is to enable centres and learners to familiarise themselves with the item types that they may find appearing within a test for a vocational specialist qualification.

Sample Assessment Material for:

  • Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service (601/3424/0)
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service (601/3478/1).

Items within the sample assessment materials are illustrative examples only, based on tested units from within the Level 2 and Level 3 Business Skills qualifications.

Skills CFA ERR Workbook – Pearson Signposting Document Available

Following our recent communication in regards to the launch of the online Instructus Skills ERR workbook, we have now published a mapping document that signposts where learner evidence generated within the online workbook can be used towards the Employee Rights and Responsibilities unit (L/506/1905).

This unit is contained within the Pearson BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma qualifications in Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leading and Management. It can be downloaded from this website within the course materials section on the respective qualification web pages.

Please note that in order to claim certification against the Employee Rights and Responsibilities unit (L/506/1905), learner evidence generated using the online ERR work still requires assessment and verification against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The signposting document identifies complete or partial coverage against the assessment criteria. Centres should identify appropriate solutions to fill identified gaps, where these exist.
