Qualification reform for 14- to 19-year-olds - A handy guide
Jim Dobson, Director, Regulatory Stakeholder Relations, has designed a guide to give a quick overview of the qualification reform in England from 2010.
The guide was written to help you understand the different changes that are currently being implemented or that are due to be introduced by 2019.
Have a look at the reforms guide.
MySkills - Feedback required
We’re conducting some research into our MySkills qualifications and have created two very short surveys (3 questions each). We would be very grateful if you could answer them for us.
We appreciate your feedback, which will help us to continually improve our qualifications.
ESOL - Transition from NQF to QCF ESOL
The NQF qualifications are available until 31 December 2014 when they will expire for new registrations. The final assessment opportunity is 30 April 2015 and the final certification date is 30 June 2015.
The QCF qualifications are all now available, with the first assessment opportunity on 17 November 2014.
Achievements in the NQF qualifications cannot be recognised as prior learning for the new QCF version.

Vacancies for SVs - Home Cooking Skills
We’re looking to recruit and train BTEC practitioners for the role of BTEC QCF Standards Verifier (SV) and have vacancies for all sectors during 2014-15, including Home Cooking Skills QCF
QCF Standards Verifiers undertake sampling of centres’ assessment and internal verification decisions in order to confirm that national standards have been met. They provide support to centres during the sampling process and produce targeted actions for centres where national standards are not being upheld. Learn more about the role of Standards Verifier.
