Announcing an exciting competition in collaboration with Sport Relief
We are thrilled to announce a brand new competition in support of Sport Relief, taking place between 9 - 13 March 2020, where our very own BTEC ambassador, double Olympic gold medallist and 2019 gymnastics World Champion, Max Whitlock MBE - could visit your school or college. All you have to do to enter is order a fundraising pack and submit your 200 word proposal on the Sport Relief website.
Sport Relief returns on Friday 13 March, bringing the nation together to get active and raise life changing amounts of money through the power of sport. The money raised by Sport Relief supports people living incredibly tough lives in the UK and around the world by tackling issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse and mental health stigma and child poverty.
We’re excited to be working with Sport Relief for this competition, as by encouraging everyone to fundraise through a variety of sporting activities - such as dancing, walking, swimming, running and many more - you can make a real difference.
Max Whitlock is a huge BTEC Sport advocate, helping to encourage and inspire learners to embark on their own BTEC pathways, just as he did when he started out. Following the completion of his BTEC in Sport Science, Max found that he had developed invaluable skills for his future career. Max has also worked with Pearson to create innovative new learning resources for BTEC qualifications.
Teachers and school staff can order a fundraising pack by visiting the Sport Relief website.
