This competition also gives young people the chance to talk about how volunteering can develop a variety of transferable skills and build confidence through real-life vocational experiences.

Further education colleges will be invited to create a short video showcasing how they are using the LTA Tennis Leaders course to develop leadership skills within a tennis environment. We want to hear how young people are learning through tennis and how they will be deployed to put their skills into action, either supporting tennis activity in local primary schools and community tennis venues or supporting delivery of tennis enrichment activity within their own college.

The winning college will win a trip to the National Tennis Centre and tickets to the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in November.

Any college that wishes to enter must submit a short film lasting no more than 3 minutes showcasing how their learners are using, or planning to use, the LTA Tennis Leaders course within the BTEC National in Sport qualification.

More details will be circulated to all colleges at the beginning of next term and are available on the Tennis Foundation website.

Entry to this competition will close in mid-October.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.

Best regards,

Penny
