Subject Advisor Appointment Booking Service
Last month I launched a service to allow you to book a one-to-one video call via Teams with me to ask questions and provide feedback. For those that have already used the service, I hope you have found it useful. There is, however, a small change to the way the bookings can be made. The service is moving to bookings made through Microsoft Bookings. You will now need to use the following link to book the appointments.
Book a one-to-one appointment with your Subject Advisor
The booking service provides you with my availability on a rolling 30 day period, so you can continue to book appointments that are convenient for you using the single link. Therefore, please do bookmark the page.

Results and post results services
The first full exam series for three years is now in progress and thoughts turn to issuing results for candidates. For some of you this will be the first series for a long time and for others this will be the first experience of candidates receiving results after exams. Below are all the details you will need leading up to results and for the post results period.
The question papers from this summer's assessments will be online and available to download from 5 July and the mark schemes will be available online from 26 July.
Results will be released to centres on 24 August with results released to candidates on 25 August.
From results day you can download centre-specific moderator feedback for all your NEA components. To find out how to do this please read the guidance below.
Moderator Report (E9)
Your moderator writes a report to explain where it was necessary to adjust your centre’s marks. Where possible, your moderator advises you on how you could make improvements for future series.
You can find these on Edexcel Online. Please speak to your examinations officer if you don't have access to Edexcel Online.
Watch our short video on how to find your Moderator Report.
ResultsPlus
ResultsPlus is a free online results analysis tool for teachers that gives you a detailed breakdown of your students’ performance in Edexcel exams. It provides the most detailed analysis available of your students’ performance and helps you to identify topics and skills where your students could benefit from further learning, helping them gain a deeper understanding of their subject.
Principal Moderator/Examiner Report
The Principal Moderator or Examiner also compiles a report on how candidates performed in this year’s examinations. It provides general feedback and highlights good approaches that can be taken forward to future examination series.
You can find these reports on ResultsPlus. Please speak to your examinations officer if you don't have access to ResultsPlus.

Access to scripts
After the results are published in August, centres will be able to view and download scripts which have been marked online free of charge from our self-service portal via Edexcel Online.
Customers should save and/or print any scripts they need for teaching and learning purposes before the deadline(to be confirmed but is usually in December).
Scripts do not have examiner annotation on them. The marked script allows teachers to evaluate how the student performed on particular questions in relation to what they have been taught; the Principal Examiner's report and the exemplars that we make available demonstrate how the mark scheme is applied.
If scripts have been marked "traditionally" (i.e. not online), centres will have to request them via the Post Results section of Edexcel Online as in previous exam series.
These scripts will also be free of charge, but the final dates to request them are the same as the published JCQ Access to Scripts deadlines.

Review of marking and moderation (RoMM)
If you're a centre with a concern about a student's results, you can use our post-results services. We have details about these services and their cost online.
Post results fees
Details of the fees for post results services for 2022 will be confirmed shortly.

2023 Assessments
On 10 May, it was announced that for the 2023 cohort Ofqual confirmed that the usual arrangements for NEA would return. This means that for our GCSE Music specification there is a need to provide two performances - one as part of an ensemble and one solo - with a combined duration of at least 4 minutes. Students will also need to compose two pieces of music - one to a brief released by us and one free composition - with a combined duration of at least 3 minutes. The exam will return to full content coverage.
The Department for Education and Ofqual will continue to monitor the path and impact of the pandemic and evaluate the delivery of arrangements this year, before finalising 2023 arrangements.
