BTEC Nationals in Music and Music Technology: February 2017 update

The BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Music Technology have been included in the list of qualifications that count towards performance measures for 16-19 year olds in England for 2019. These have been included on the Technical Level list.
The DfE will be issuing further updates to the lists before September 2017. The BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Music are currently awaiting confirmation to be included on the lists under the Applied Genreal qualifications.
Entries for the summer exam series need to be made by 21 March 2017.
Training
There are two training dates for the new BTEC Nationals in Music and Music Technology available to book on to for online events. Please book on to these to find out the latest information and to start preparing to teach these courses in September 2017.
