BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma in Music: October 2017 update

Changes to qualification

Unfortunately the proposed BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma in Music was not included on performance measures lists in England for 2019 and we have been asked to make some changes by DfE. Whilst we review the feedback and redevelop this qualification we have decided to make some changes to the proposed qualification and make this available to deliver this academic year.

We have developed this to be a practical, internally-assessed qualification designed to give your post-16 learners the self-promotion skills and final portfolio they'll need to progress to employment, an apprenticeship or further study.

Centres will be able to make registrations on the course from 1 November 2017.
