External Assessments
From this year any external assessments for units that are released online will no longer be found on the qualification page. The external assessment task for BTEC Tech Award in Music Practice will be found within the 'Secure Tests' area of the website on the release date, 27 January 2020. This will be gold padlocked, which means you will need to get your Exams Officer to download the task for you as a standard Edexcel Online account won't be able to access the material.
The paper-based exams for BTEC Firsts will continue to be sent to centres as normal.
Access to scripts
The free access to scripts service will close on Friday 14 December. If you want to download and save any scripts from your students summer 2018 exams then you will need to do this by Friday 14 December.
Scripts do not have examiner annotation on them. The marked script allows teachers to evaluate how the student performed on particular questions in relation to what they have been taught; the Principal Examiner's Report and the exemplars that we make available demonstrate how the mark scheme is applied.
If scripts have been marked "traditionally" (i.e. not online), centres will have to request them via the Post Results section of Edexcel Online as in previous exam series.
