BTEC Getting ready for summer 2022 results
This update is to remind you how to access some documents and services that you may need during the results period for BTEC Firsts, Tech Awards and Nationals.

Standards Verification
The standards verification process is coming to an end and you will be able to access your SV report once it has been completed. You can access the SV report via Edexcel Online. We have produced a short video showing how to access your SV report.
For the external assessments from the summer series the results will be issued on Wednesday 24 August 2022 and they can be released to candidates on Thursday 25 August 2022.

Free access to scripts service
From Results day until 16 December 2022, you will be able to view and download scripts for Paper 1 free of charge using our Access to Scripts service.
The Portal can only be accessed by Edexcel Online users who have the Exam Viewer profile ticked on Edexcel Online. Exams officers give teachers access to Exam Viewer.
Scripts do not have examiner annotation on them. The marked script allows teachers to evaluate how the student performed on particular questions in relation to what they have been taught; the Principal Examiner's report and the exemplars that we make available demonstrate how the mark scheme is applied.
For Units or Components not marked online (such as Unit 2 from BTEC National IT) you will need to request them, free of charge, by 16 December 2022, via the Post Results section of Edexcel Online as in previous exam series, you will get an Item Level Mark report that you can match up to the copy of the student's work that have retained in your centre.
Candidate consent
Candidate consent is required before requesting script copies, as per section 4.2 of the JCQ's Post-results services guide. Candidate consent can only be obtained after results have been published.

ResultsPlus
ResultsPlus is a free online results analysis tool for teachers that gives you a detailed breakdown of your students’ performance in Pearson Edexcel exams. It provides the most detailed analysis available of your students’ performance and helps you to identify topics and skills where your students could benefit from further learning, helping them gain a deeper understanding of their subject.
Examiner Report
The Examiner also compiles a report on how candidates performed in this year’s examinations. It provides general feedback and highlights good approaches that can be taken forward to future examination series.
You can find these reports on ResultsPlus. Please speak to your examinations officer if you don't have access to ResultsPlus.

How to apply for post-results services
Please speak to your exams officer if you wish to proceed with a review of marking or moderation. Exams officers should contact their Centre Account Specialist on 0344 463 2535 if they require guidance or view the video below. All applications for reviews of marking must be submitted through Edexcel Online.
Appeals
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a review of marking, you may wish to appeal against the decision. We will allow the head of centre (or designated member of the centre’s senior management team or examinations manager) 30 calendar days from the receipt of the outcome of the review of marking, during which an appeal may be lodged by sending an email to the following address:edexcelappeals@pearson.com.

Applications for appeals may only be accepted from a head of centre (on behalf of a candidate or a group of candidates) or private candidates.
