GCSE ICT

For GCSE ICT - Unit 2 and Unit 4, the deadline for submission of centre marks and work to the moderator is 15 May.

The list of learners selected for sampling will be available from Edexcel Online shortly.

The Unit 1 - Living in a Digital World examination will take place on the morning of 14 May. The Unit 3 - Exploring Digital Design examination will take place on the afternoon of 21 May.

A level Applied ICT

Pre-release material for the summer assessment window for Unit 7 (6957) and Unit 9 (6959) of A level Applied ICT is now available to download from the GCE Applied ICT website.

Unit 3 (6953) pre-release material will be available from 18 April.

The 5 day examination window for Unit 3 (6953) of A level Applied ICT begins on 19 May. The examination window for Unit 7 (6957) and Unit 9 (6959) of A level Applied ICT begins on the 5 May and ends on 24 May.

For learners completing International GCSE ICT this summer, the following dates apply: The 5-day examination window for 4IT0 02 (Practical Paper)begins on Monday 12 May; The examination of 4IT0 01 (Written Paper)will take place on the morning of 6 June.

Next generation CiDA

The 5-day examination window for DA201 - Developing Web Products, begins on 12 May. Get more guidance on conducting the examination in the CiDA Instructions for the conduct of examinations document.

The first cohort of learners sat the DA201 examination for the first time in January. To help prepare for the summer exam, you can now access the January exam paper, data files and mark scheme in the course materials for next generation CiDA.

DiDA

15 May is the deadline for submission of centre marks and work to the moderator for Units 1 and 2 (for non OSCA accredited centres).

15 June is the deadline for submission of centre marks for Units 1 and 2 (centres with OSCA accreditation) and the submission of centre marks and samples to the moderator for all other units.
