Centres can submit non-priority appeals to awarding organisations from results day to 17 September 2021.

Priority appeals can be submitted by centres to awarding organisations from 10 August to 23 August 2021.

A priority appeal is only for students applying to higher education who did not attain their firm choice (i.e. the offer they accepted as their first choice) and wish to appeal an A level or other Level 3 qualification result).

The JCQ have also produced these summer appeals FAQs and an appeals guide specifically for students:

Autumn 2021 Resits

A level Politics will be on offer in the Autumn 2021 exam series however centres should note that we will not be offering an Autumn 2021 resit exam for AS Politics.

Entry for the Autumn 2021 exam series for A level Politics examinations is restricted to students who have received a teacher-assessed grade in summer 2021 and to students who are able to demonstrate that they would have entered summer 2021 exams had they not been cancelled.

Exams/topics will not be offered if we receive no entries by the entry deadlines of 8 September for A level.
