Pearson have exciting opportunities for teachers to become Standards Verifier and Examiners for vocational qualifications.
Standards Verifiers and Examiners
An Examiner marks candidates’ responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, whilst adhering to Code of Practice and examination procedures.
A Standards Verifier verifies centre assessment decisions through scrutiny of assignments and samples of learner work. We have Standards Verifiers for our Vocational Qualifications, namely: BTEC QCF, BTEC next generation, BTEC Higher Nationals and NVQ/Apprenticeship.

Training
Training will be available to contracted Associates and the dates and method of training will be made available to you should you receive a contract. The training you receive will either be face to face or online and further details will follow once you are contracted. You will receive payment for any training you attend.
