Latest guidance on conducting external assessment in 2022 and managing absences

Teacher instructions for BTEC Tech Award in Engineering
BTEC Tech Award in Engineering Component 3 February 2022 series external assessment is scheduled on 07/02/2022-10/02/2022 for Part 1, and 11/02/2022, am for Part 2.
The teacher instructions for this component was published on the 6 December to give centres a longer time than the usual 4 weeks to prepare the experiment. You can access the teacher instructions from the secure test page.
January and February 2022 Results days

DfE 2024 performance tables update
On the 10th December, the DfE has confirmed the qualifications that are on the performance tables in 2024. 603/7049/X, Pearson BTEC Level 1/Level 2 Tech Award in Engineering has not been approved for the 2024 Key Stage 4 Performance tables. We are asking the DfE to review the decision with an appeal and will let you know as soon as the outcome is available. At this moment in time, we do not have a timeframe for the outcome.
